Mangalore is well connected to the neighboring states through an excellent network of road, rail and air transport. The local transport system is efficient and well-developed and can be relied upon for local conveyance. There are several hotels in Mangalore which are affordable to any category of travelers.

Applications open in February each year.

Students can apply for BHM in the month of February whereas applicant must clear the Plus-two (or equivalent) examination with prescribed %.

All applications will be verified in the office against the photocopies submitted. Only after the verification is completed, the status of the application will be updated to the applicant by the way of telephone call or e-mail.

The last date will be as per the latest notification from Mangalore University.

Any candidate seeking admission to the first year BHM degree course must have passed the Pre-University (Class XII or 10+2) Examination or its equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks. A minimum of 45% is sufficient for SC/ST students. The offer for admission is subject to the verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission.

The result will be announced quickly as per the merit and written examination.

Fees for first year along with admission registration fee must be paid in full while processing admission.

All the required documents to apply for the loan will be issued on request only when the student pays the registration fee. The applying and processing of loan is the student’s responsibility. When the loan is sanctioned and if it is sanctioned in the name of the institution the student will have to submit the cheque/DD to the Office of Accounts who will reimburse the amount in the student’s name in case if the student has paid the fee in advance.

It is mandatory for all students to have a student account in Canara Bank, Balmatta, Mangalore or any other nationalized bank recommended by the college. All further payments such as tuition fee, hostel fee in subsequent years, etc; will be accepted only through the student account. The account must be opened while processing admission.

Student who wishes to cancel the admission must submit an application stating the reason within the time notified by the University. The Cancellation must be processed in person.
